The Securepoint Shield bundle combines UTM firewall and awareness solutions, thereby strengthening channel sales and customer security.

Securepoint is kicking off the second half of the year with a new distribution model: Starting immediately, partners can purchase our IT security products in a bundle that combines technically coordinated solutions with sales advantages for our channel partners. End customers benefit from comprehensive security without incurring additional costs.

The first bundle, “Shield,” combines our proven UTM firewall with the new Awareness Next awareness platform. Each Shield bundle already includes five Awareness users—no additional sales, no separate calculation.

“Many of our partners appreciate that the development of our products is closely linked to their feedback. And many of them have asked us to place even greater emphasis on the sales focus,” says René Hofmann, Managing Director of Securepoint. “With the bundle model, we are providing concrete relief to system houses and service providers and delivering a well-rounded security concept.”

Human factor

Once technical measures have been implemented, cybersecurity is often considered a done deal – and employee training is neglected. For system houses, this means they have to work hard to convince their customers. However, the effort involved is often less than expected – awareness training rarely costs more than the price of a cup of coffee per user per month. According to various surveys, up to 90% of successful cyber attacks can be attributed to human error.

This is exactly where the Shield Bundle comes in: it makes it easier to address this vulnerability – for service providers and end customers alike. Security awareness is not a “nice-to-have,” but the foundation of any security strategy.
