Whitelisting? Allowlisting? Application Control!

Out with complexity, in with security

Only approved applications may be run.

Maximum ease of management

Automated trust-level database identifies trustworthy software

Set it up and sit back

Once set up, hardly any further intervention by the IT department is required

Available offline

Database of authorised software stored redundantly on servers and endpoints

Maximum security: Application Control ensures that only pre-approved and trusted applications can run within your organisation. This reliably blocks malware before it can even become active.

The ultimate protection against ransomware

Only software that is known and verified is run – this prevents any ransomware from launching.

A simple principle – maximum impact

Application Control not only protects your business from known malware, but also blocks every single piece of unwanted software without exception – including entirely new attack methods (‘zero-days’). Its technological superiority stems from the operating principle of application allowlisting: you determine what is permitted to run within the organisation – everything else is consistently blocked.

Maximum ease of management, maximum security

  • Set it up once and simply enjoy peace of mind: Application Control requires little to no intervention from the IT department.
  • Unrivalled control: Only programmes on your whitelist are permitted to run. Everything else is blocked – precisely and without compromise.
  • Automated management: Thanks to our user-friendly automation process, the system recognises new, trustworthy software and automatically adds it to the whitelist if it has a good TrustLevel. This places no additional burden on your administrators.

Make your business immune to viruses, ransomware and targeted attacks – with state-of-the-art technology and maximum reliability.

That is why Application Control is so effective

Application Control relies on the perfectly coordinated interaction of three components: the agent, the server and the cloud. The accompanying wizard makes it a breeze to use.

  • Agent
The agent is installed on every device requiring protection. It generates a unique hash for every application to be launched. If the hash is not authorised, the programme will not run. Automatic local caches ensure security even when operating offline.
  • Server
Your whitelist is stored securely and under your control on a pre-configured virtual server directly within your network. Hash matching is carried out centrally and can be tailored precisely to your organisation’s infrastructure. You retain full control over your data.
  • TrustLevel Database (TLDB)
Maximum management convenience: The cloud database covers over 99 per cent of the trusted software commonly available on the market and assesses each application individually using TrustLevel. New applications and updates are automatically checked and, if they receive a positive TrustLevel rating, are approved straight away – manual intervention is usually not required, and established software solutions can be deployed straight away without any administrative effort!
  • AdminWizard
Via a centralised and intuitive console, you can conveniently manage all whitelist objects, user rights, device authorisations (e.g. USB), reports, automations and deployment processes. This makes your day-to-day work much easier.

Application Control for critical areas

Whether it’s critical infrastructure, hospitals, local authorities or businesses handling particularly sensitive data – Application Control is the reliable choice when security is the top priority.

Effectively protect your entire network against both known and emerging threats – without any additional administrative burden.

Device whitelist – greater protection and greater convenience

A device whitelist allows you to specify precisely which USB devices may be used by which users on specific endpoints within the network. This controls the use of USB hardware and enhances security within the organisation. Only authorised devices are granted access; unauthorised and potentially dangerous devices are automatically blocked.
