Securepoint Mail Security makes emails secure. Malware, ransomware, executable macros and other critical content are identified and neutralised by intelligent, cloud-based services even before they are delivered to the mailbox. Links contained in the email are checked again on click to detect delayed attacks. If an email is not clearly good or bad, the integrated sandbox allows attachments and links to be tested in a secure environment. Thanks to S/MIME certificates, outgoing emails are securely encrypted and clearly certified.

Mail Security protects mailbox and server
Malware, ransomware, executable macros and other critical content are reliably recognised and rendered harmless by Securepoint Mail Security. It uses highly developed, self-learning algorithms that are constantly on the lookout for the latest threats and update themselves. In particular, fraudulent phishing emails are identified and employees are protected against social engineering.
This check takes place before the mail is delivered to the mail server. As a result, Mail Security also protects companies from DDOS attacks and relieves the burden on internal traffic.
If an email cannot be clearly classified as dangerous or harmless, Mail Security tests the behaviour of attachments in the integrated sandbox, a secure environment without a connection to the company's own network.

Für die Einbindung von Securepoint Mail Security in den Datenstrom wird eine aktive Internetverbindung sowie eine eigene E-Mail Domain, auf einem Mailserver benötigt, der aus dem Internet erreichbar ist.
Um den E-Mail-Verkehr über Securepoint Mail Security umleiten zu können, müssen die MX-Records der entsprechenden Domain angepasst werden. Weiterhin muss sichergestellt werden, dass der empfangende Mailserver korrekt konfiguriert ist, um E-Mails von Securepoint Mail Security empfangen zu können.
