Der Paritätische is one of six head associations of voluntary welfare in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is the umbrella association for over 10,000 independent organisations, institutions and groups in social and health services. With its 15 regional associations and over 280 district offices, der Paritätische supports the work of its members.
It represents and promotes its member organisations in their professional goals and their legal, social and economic issues. Through association institutions, it contributes to the maintenance, cooperation and foundation of organisations and institutions in the field of welfare work.
The Paritätische is an association of social movements. As with member organisations, it is committed to the idea of social justice: equal opportunities, the right of every human being to live a life of dignity in which they can develop freely.
All registered members of the “Deutschen Partitätischen Wohlfahrtsverband - Gesamtverband e.V. Berlin (Bundesverband Der Paritätische)”, in accordance with the membership list of the general association.
